Artares - Good to know before you buy!

The Weinor weather sensor provides a smart solution in cold conditions. When temperatures drop, it prevents the louvres from closing completely when operated with the hand transmitter. Instead, they stop slightly open, which helps avoid them freezing together. This way, the louvres remain free to rotate without any issues.
The Weinor weather sensor also responds to rain. It sends a signal to the motor, prompting the louvres to close. Once the rain has passed, the louvres automatically reopen slightly to allow any remaining water to drain away. However, a few drops may still fall from the louvres onto the patio after a shower or in windy conditions. For your peace of mind, Artares meets rain class 2 standards, which means it can handle up to 56 litres of water per square metre within an hour.
The louvres can be positioned in various directions depending on the layout of your building. Their orientation influences both how light enters the space and how shadows are formed. As a general recommendation, the opening should face south for optimal light and shade balance.
Simply use the remote control to open the louvres. This allows hot air to escape naturally through the roof. How much air flows out depends on how you position the louvres — giving you full control over the bioclimate beneath the roof. You can also adjust the integrated sun protection system to suit your preferences. Once a certain level of sunlight is reached, the louvres open automatically.
You can customise your Artares louvred roof from Weinor with a wide range of frame colours. There are more than 50 standard options available, along with over 150 additional RAL colours to choose from. However, it is worth noting that lighter shades, especially white tones, can be more sensitive to dirt. If your installation is near trees or a busy road, it may be advisable to consider a darker or less sensitive colour.
Throughout the day and across the seasons, light levels naturally change. If a room becomes too dark, you can simply open the Artares louvres to let in more daylight. The adjustable louvres make it easy to control how much light enters your living space, giving you full flexibility.
It’s recommended to use weather-resistant outdoor furniture under your roof, as there is always a chance it may get wet. Depending on how heavy or intense the rain is, water can splash underneath the roof and reach the covered area.
Clean the structure using tap water at a maximum temperature of 40°C, along with soft cloths and, if needed, mildly alkaline cleaning products. Remove loose dirt using a vacuum or a soft broom. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or mechanical tools such as pressure washers or stiff brushes.
